Wedding Bells: Politician's daughter engaged to popular Nairobi businessman

Popular Nairobi businessman Meshack Kimutai is engaged, MondayBlues can exclusively report.

The businessman and upcoming politician broke the news yesterday ending wide speculations and gossip on social media saying that he was eying a daughter of a politician.

“A month ago I told you that I am in love and I now want to introduce you to my fiancée, the woman I am about to marry, Beatrice Njuguna,” Kimutai told MondayBlues yesterday.

The beauty is the daughter of Kirinyaga Woman Representative Winnie Njuguna.

The two lovebirds have been seeing each other for quite some while and have made their affair public to their families ahead of the planned wedding that is scheduled to take place later in the year.

“We plan to do our wedding later in the year and currently, we are putting all logistics in place. We have completed the formal arrangements. Betty is a wonderful lady. She compliments me. She is special to me. I am ready to settle down with her,” Kimutai, a young businessman who is known to hobnob with the who-is-who in the political arena, said.

Over the weekend, he joined other politicians in presiding over eight fundraising events in aid of churches in Rift Valley, a move that is seen as party of his political strategy.

Speaking to MondayBlues, he confirmed that, indeed, he will be running for a political seat come 2016.
