Manchester United youngsters see Louis van Gaal as 'outdated grandpa'

A number of Manchester United youngsters want to see Louis van Gaal leave in the summer because of his outdated management style, according to reports.

The Daily Mail say Van Gaal is seen as a "grandpa" at Old Trafford, with a host of players hopeful Ryan Giggs will replace him at the end of the season.

That's despite the Dutchman's record of handing young players their debuts at the club, with Marcus Rashford, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson all breaking into the first-team set-up this term.

It is claimed United's players would prefer Giggs to take charge over Jose Mourinho, who has been widely tipped to take over as manager.
