Arsenal offered PSG’s free-agent-to-be superstar striker

PSG star Zlatan Ibrahimovic in action

Wages for 34-year-old striker also linked with Manchester United and Chelsea would be huge at around £250,000 a week but there's no fee to pay

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been offered to Arsenal as the Swedish superstar eyes a move to the Premier League this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain striker Ibrahimovic, one of the biggest names in world football, is believed to prefer a move to London and agents believe the Gunners could be interested.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger must decide whether signing the 34-year-old next month would be a good option, with Chelsea and Manchester United also likely to be interested when he becomes a free agent at the end of the season.

It would be a major departure from Wenger's normal policy but PSG have yet to offer Ibrahimovic a new deal and, even though his wages would be in excess of £250,000 a week, there would be no fee and he recently talked about playing in the Premier League.

Wenger is planning for next season with a striker on his hit-list as they look to strengthen their squad, along with a midfielder and centre half.

The fact he is thinking about 2016-17 shows he is not about to quit, as a section of the club's frustrated fans are demanding.

Ibrahimovic - who once rejected a trial with Arsenal as a youngster - could be a short-term solution.
