A Kakamega man told a court he threatened  his ex-wife with a panga because he couldn’t stand her.

Wycliffe Kibaki was accused of allegedly chasing Jacklyn Khavayi with a panga at Muliro Gardens on December 12. He told the court that they worked in the same hotel and whenever he saw her, his blood boiled.  “I asked her to find another job because we have divorced and bumping into her everyday was making me angry, but she refused,” he said.

The court released him on a cash bail of Sh3,000. His case will be heard on December 26.
