Lately, many Kenyans have turned to farming and business to make ends meet and the World Trade Organisation (WTO) conference could not have come at a better time.
Kenyans should have been given a chance to showcase the many products they grow, manufacture or sell. Kenyan authorities would have organised farmers' stands outside the conference to showcase various products and jobs undertaken by Kenyans, so that at the end of the conference, Kenyans can get contracts, orders and markets and achieve global recognition.
This can open international markets, which will contribute to sustainable development, hence reduce poverty. The WTO conference should benefit small businesses.
