Brazil beat Kenya at Nairobi Club to win 10-Goal tournament

Brazil are the new Kenya International 10-Goal tournament champions.

They achieved the feat after overcoming stubborn Kenya Tusker Malt 5-3 at Nairobi Polo Club yesterday.

New Kenya sensational striker Jadini Nzomo who was instrumental to contain raids of their opponents admitted having lost to a better and organised side.

"They were more organised than us but I must admit the matches have given us more exposure and determination towards our game," Jadini told Standard Sports.

Brazilian captain Marcus Schalldach said Kenya has amazing horses, which are very fast.

39-year-old handicap 6 Brazilian Leandro Rodrigues was voted the Most Valueable Player. Horse christened Star owned by Nicola Jensen was voted as the Best Playing Pony.

Kenya Chui who had beaten Kenya Duma 6-5 with four goals coming from Craig Millar and a double by Harry Stichbury finished as play-off winners.

In the match, Kenya Duma replied from a double by Jules Camm and a goal each from the Voorspuy duo of Izzy and Archie and Jose Craig.

Team 24:7 beat Live Wire 15-11 goals aggregate to win the Subsidiary Cup in a three match round robin series with Kelvin Jumba emerging as the top scorer with 12 goals.
