Kenya Police Bullets are once again the queens of women football in the country.

The Law Enforcers stamped their authority after clinching the 2024-2025 Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Women’s Premier League over the weekend.

Star striker Rebecca Okwaro, who has been unstoppable throughout the campaign, netted a hat-trick in Bullets 4-0 victory over Trinity Starlets on the final day of the season. Emily Moranga added the fourth to cap a stellar team performance.

In the process, Okwaro sealed her place as the league’s top scorer with 16 goals.

The four-goal victory not only ensured the law enforcers finished top of the league with 46 points from 21 matches, but also underlined their dominance in women’s football, having gone through the entire season with just one loss, 13 wins, and seven draws.

Ulinzi Starlets finished second with 44 points, while Kibera Queens rounded off a competitive top three with 41 points.

This title marks Kenya Police Bullets’ second consecutive championship win in only their second season in the women’s top flight.

This remarkable achievement according to coach Beldine Odemba was as a result of team discipline, teamwork, and tactical maturity.

“We came into this season knowing it would be more difficult than our first. Everyone wanted to beat the champions. But our teamwork, resilience, and belief in our system carried us through,” said Odemba.

The story of their season has been one of grit and consistency.

This was anchored by the attacking brilliance of Okwaro, who edged Kibera Soccer Women’s Faith Mboya by just one goal in a tightly contested Golden Boot race. Mboya finished with 15 goals, while Catherine Khaemba of Bungoma Queens had 13. Ulinzi Starlets’ Joy Kinglady Oriyo was fourth with 12, followed by Diana Cherono (Vihiga Queens) and Beverline Adika (Zetech Sparks), who netted 10 and 9, respectively.

Okwaro’s clinical finish, movement, and composure in front of goal vital in Police’s attack.
