A 19-selection football multi-bet for 15,728 odds paid-out? This sounds impossible but actually happened on Bangbet last weekend.

For those who are not familiar with a multi-bet, a multi-bet is an accumulation of game odds on a betslip.

In order to pay-out, all games staked must win. In reality, it is difficult to win three or even two selections for a multi-bet. But a Ghanaian bettor named William took a flyer on a 19-selection multi-bet at Bangbet.

William placed a 19-selection multi-bet with Bangbet. This bet accumulated to 15,728 odds. His betslip covered English Premier League, Serie A, EFL Championship and French Ligue 1.

The most interesting part about this winning ticket is that all his 19 selections were from the most competitive leagues in the world, which included powerhouses like Chelsea, PSG, Liverpool, Inter Milan, Juventus, Arsenal, AC Milan, among others.

And all these 19 teams won to make the bettor’s dream come true.

Eventually, William was paid out a whopping 15,728.16 times payout of his bet. Not only is this bet the biggest odds won in 2021 in Africa, but around the world.

"This is the biggest Odds in sports betting that has ever been placed and won all over the world. We are glad that this has happened on our platform," said BangBet Kenya marketing Director Kelvin Maundu.

"Giving our customers maximum returns and value on their cash especially during this difficult time when the world is trying to win the war against Covid-19 is and has always been our ultimate goal," he said.

"Locally, we are having random lucky winners every week each walking away with Sh100,000. So far, we have awarded three lucky users. At the end of the month, we will be awarding another lucky user with Sh500,000." Maundu said.

"It's our wish that we will be able to contain the virus and go back to developing and nurturing more sports talent through our #ChampeWaMtaa initiative.”
