World Tong-Il Moodo event set for Kenya

The eighth edition of the Mombasa Open Tong-Il Moodo international martial arts was slated for August-September, 2020 but was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic awaiting guidelines from the sports ministry.

Kenya Tong-Il Moodo Federation president Master Clarence Mwakio, confirmed that the world federation has okayed the event to be staged in Kenya with full compliance to Covid-19 sports guidelines.

“We have received communication from the World Tong-Il-Moodo Federation and they have instructed us to engage the government and see how we can partner and host the world event in Mombasa Kenya, we are happy that for the first time we have over 18 countries which, have shown interest to participate in the event,” Mwakio said.
