Paul Pogba will stay at Manchester United this summer, according to his agent Mino Raiola.

The Frenchman has long been linked with what would be his second Old Trafford exit, with Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid mentioned as a potential destination.

Speculation around a move away for Pogba reached fever pitch during Jose Mourinho's latter days as United boss, and he has suffered with injury issues under current United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

However, he did recover to play a part at the end of their Premier League campaign as well as the club's unsuccessful bid to win the Europa League, and Raiola now says that the World Cup winner will be staying at United and discussing a new deal soon.

"We're going to speak about a new contract soon, no stress."

Pogba's current deal runs out next summer, when United could face losing him for nothing.

Relations between Raiola and Solskjaer had appeared to be frosty back in February, when the Norwegian bullishly claimed that it was he who would dictate Pogba's future and not the Italian-born Dutch agent.

Raiola hit back though, telling the media: ""Paul is not mine and for sure not Solskjaer's property, Paul is Paul Pogba's [property]. You cannot own a human being already for a long time in the UK or anywhere else.

"I hope Solskjaer does not want to suggest that Paul is his prisoner."

Pogba is currently enjoying a break at the end of United's season, with discussions over his new deal set to begin when he returns.
