It comes as no surprise to see Hollywood star Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson lead the way in the WWE rich list.

The artist behind the 'People's Elbow' has enjoyed a glittering career in the ring and on camera and is one of the highest-grossing box office stars of all time.

Elsewhere, 16-time world champion John Cena and 'The King of Kings' Triple H feature high up the list - with both legends of the industry still active today.

But there is also room for retired fan-favourite performers, including 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, Mick Foley and many others.

Without further ado, these are the top 10 richest WWE wrestlers of all time.

10. Mick Foley - £11.6million

Foley went under many names in his wrestling days, including Cactus Jack, Mankind and Dude Love.

The four-time world champion was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013 and has enjoyed numerous non-wrestling roles within the company since retiring from in-ring competition the year earlier.

And The Sun report Foley pocketed £11.6million for his career spanning over 35 years.

9. Chris Jericho - £13.9million

A six-time world champion, Jericho spent numerous stints with the WWE between 1999 and 2018.

The American-Canadian is now signed to All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro-Wrestling and is considered one of the all-time great personalities of sports entertainment.

Perhaps the highlight of his glittering career was clinching the first Undisputed WWF Championship in 2001 by beating The Rock and Steve Austin on the same night.

8. Big Show - £15.5million

One of the most formidable stars of all time, Big Show is seven feet tall and has appropriately won the world championship seven times.

His impressive in-ring career has been complemented by his television and film work, and he was recently the subject of Netflix production 'The Big Show Show'.

Elsewhere, he starred in Adam Sandler's 'The Waterboy' and alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in 'Jingle All the Way'.

7. Brock Lesnar - £19million

Lesnar, known as 'The Beast Incarnate' is a legend of both WWE and mixed martial arts.

He won the UFC Heavyweight Championship in 2008 and defended his belt twice before returning to WWE and adding to his numerous title reigns.

His other achievements include ending The Undertaker's legendary WrestleMania streak and becoming the WWE's youngest world champion at the age of 25.

6. Kurt Angle - £19million

Angle won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games and put his skills to use with the WWE soon after.

He went on to win four championships and numerous other accolades with the company.

Described as the "most gifted all-around performer" in WWE history by John Cena, Angle continues to make sporadic out-of-ring appearances.

5. Hulk Hogan - £20million

Hogan had some of the most iconic gimmicks in professional wrestling history during his performing days, including the 'all-American hero' and 'Hollywood Hogan'.

His 12 world championship reigns make him one of the most decorated performers, too.

Hogan made a remarkable fifth return to WWE in 2018 and last appeared in a September 2019 edition of flagship weekly show 'Monday Night Raw'.

4. Triple H - £31.1million

Dubbed 'The King of Kings', Triple H's WWE career has been truly regal.

He is a 14-time world champion and his executive role within the company saw him kickstart the search for the next generation of talent under the NXT brand.

He is married to WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephenie McMahon, daughter of CEO Vince McMahon, and is estimated to be worth over £31million by TheRichest.

3. Steve Austin - £35.2million

Known as 'The Texas Rattlesnake' and 'Stone Cold', Austin is one of the icons of professional wrestling.

From chugging beer in the ring to 'stunning' everyone in sight, his 19 championship wins earned him a spot in the Hall of Fame in 2009.

Austin's last appearance came on "3:16 Day" earlier this year, when in trademark fashion he cracked out the beer before performing his finishing move on numerous victims.

2. John Cena - £43million

Cena has become the biggest WWE star of the last two decades since his debut in 2002.

He is the face of the company and is tied with the legendary Ric Flair for the most world championship wins, with 16.

He might not be able to match the list's top star for Hollywood stardom, but he has made film appearances of his own, including 'The Marine', and released a rap album - 'You Can't See Me' - which went platinum.

1. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson - £200million+

The Rock's incredible achievements transcend wrestling and have propelled him to status as one of Hollywood's biggest ever stars.

As a professional wrestler, he is a ten-time world champion and considered one of the greatest personalities and in-ring performers ever.

And his on-screen performances in the 'Fast and Furious' franchise - and so many other films - mean his net worth is estimated at £172 million by Men’s Health and £244.1m by The Express.
