Manchester City are confident of winning the race to sign Everton defender John Stones, according to reports.
The Sun on Sunday claim City boss Pep Guardiola reckons Stones will choose to join him at the Etihad instead of moving to either Manchester United or Chelsea, who are both interested in the 22-year-old centre-back.
United manager Jose Mourinho had four bids for the youngster turned down when he was Chelsea boss last summer.
Mourinho has only made one signing since becoming United manager last month, with Ivorian defender Eric Bailly joining from Villarreal in a £30million deal.
