Mombasa,Kenya: One hundred anti-riot policemen with tear gas will be deployed during the volatile Kenya Premier League return leg match between Bandari and Gor Mahia tomorrow.
This is one of the resolutions passed by the security meeting held on Thursday at KPA Mbaraki Sports Club. FKF South Coast Branch Secretary, Evans Mwachia, who chaired the meeting disclosed that the policemen will be assisted by 50 stewards.
Mwachia said the move was aimed at curbing hooliganism. “We have decided to beef up security to maintain law so that fans can watch the match peacefully,” said Mwachia. Bandari secretary Ben Oloo and Team Manager Edward Oduor attended the meeting.
