Green Park’s golf club Pro Ajay Shah shot to the lead in the third day of the KCB Advantage Banking golf tour at the magnificent Muthaiga Golf club with a superb 4 under par 67 to claim a standing in the prize money bracket.

Ajay Shah who is second overall with a gross total of 216 had a good outing at the Muthaiga golf club. He managed 3 birdies and good 6 pars for a total of 33 at the front nine in a sunny third day of the KCB tour.  

He went on to shoot two birdies followed by 6 pars in hole 11,12,13,15,16, and 17 but got one bogey in hole 18 for a total of 34 in the back nine.

Comeback kid Simon Ngige of Thika Golf club was in good spirits as he shot an impressive 2 under par 69 to reaffirm his presence in this year’s KCB Advantage banking tourney.

Simon who has been playing second fiddle in the past two tours managed three birdies in the front nine with a couple of bogeys followed by four pars for a total of 35 in the front nine.

In the back nine he managed one birdie at the tenth hole and shot the through course with eight pars for an impressive total of 34.

 The third day sow Muthaiga Golf club resident Pro Nicolas Rokoine claim his place in the leaders’ board after shooting a superb level par for an overall three day total of 215.

Dismas Indiza who was the overnight leader got a sufficient one under par 72 to close the second day with a total of 216.

The Mumias resident Pro has had a good outing in Muthaiga so far and looks to make a stub at the grand prize.

The lead is still up for grabs as the tour comes to a close today with a total of fifteen Pros rearing to take the top prize; front runners are Nicolas Rokoine with a gross total of 215.

Dismas Indiza and Ajay Shah tie with gross total of 216, Paul Thuo and Simon Ngige tie with an overall total of 217 and Anil Shah closes the top five with a gross total of 221.
