Kenya Sevens' hopes of replicating their 2013 semifinals feat at the 2022 Rugby Sevens World Cup ended in the round of 16 on Friday evening after losing 22-07 to Argentina at the Cape Town Stadium, South Africa.

Poor decisions and indiscipline cost Shujaa heavily after two of their players Johnstone Olindi and Samuel Oliech were sin-binned.
Olindi who features for KCB was the first to be sin-binned in the first half.

Shujaa, who had earlier beaten Tonga 19-0 in the preliminary round, found themselves trailing 15-0 at the break after conceding two tries from Tobias Wade and Joaquin De La Vega and a Matias Osadczuk penalty.

Alejo Lavayen immediately punished Shujaa who ended up losing 22-7.
