Last season’s runners up Kabras Sugar will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten run in the 2021-2022 Kenya Cup season when they entertain relegation threatened Homeboyz at the Kakamega Showground which will host a double header on Saturday afternoon.

The Kenya Cup league will enter week 10, with six-second last matches lined up to be played in Nairobi, Nakuru and Kakamega.

Leaders Kabras will be in search of the 10th successive bonus point win of the season as they welcome the Deejays at the forest from 3pm.

For a while, ninth placed Homeboyz looked safe, but have found themselves in an equally precariously situation as they seek to retain their Kenya Cup status for a tenth consecutive year since their promotion in 2012.

They do have a herculean task ahead as they have to defeat the sugar men to remain safe.

According to Kenya Rugby Union, the match is set for live broadcast.

Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) RFC and Mwamba will battle at the venue in an early kick off clash scheduled for 1pm.

Meanwhile, Kabras have made four changes to the starting squad ahead of their tie against Homeboyz.

Three changes are in the pack with Ephraim Oduor and Hillary Mwanjilwa coming in for Joseph Odero and Asuman Mugerwa.

Collins Indeche is back to the starting squad manning the left flank as George Nyambua is dropped.

Brian Tanga and Ntabeni Dukisa will continue at scrum-half and fly-half respectively. The midfield partnership of Walter Okoth and Bryceson Agesa has also been retained.

Alfred Orege and Derrick Ashihundu are on the wings and Felix Ayange returns with Jone Kubu dropping to the bench.
