Menengai High School won the rugby 15s, but lost the sevens title as the curtains came down on Nakuru County Secondary Schools Sports Association Term One Games at Moi High School, Kabarak yesterday.

They won the rugby 15s title after dismissing Molo Secondary 28-0 in the final, but were eliminated in the preliminaries of the sevens championships at the zonal level.

As a result, they have qualified for Rift Valley Secondary Schools Games set for Kapsabet Boys High School from March 18-21.

In Kajiado Schools Games, Laiser Hill Academy lifted the rugby sevens title after thrashing Oloitoktok 57-0 to make it to the regional championships.

Nkaimurunya lifted the rugby 15s title after dismissing Olooliser 17-0.
