Socialite Risper Faith has undergone yet another cosmetic procedure to get rid of her skin tags - soft, noncancerous growths that usually form within the skin folds of the neck, armpits, breasts, groin area, and eyelids.

Sharing her experience via social media, the mother of one revealed that she made up her mind to go ahead with the procedure after struggling with the condition for a while adding that she wants to make the most out of her 30’s.

“Sooooo today I decided to remove skin tag from my body. 30s itaki makasiriko. @beautyquestspa am more than happy…” she wrote.

In her explanation, the tags were removed by a professional using intense heat through a process called Cauterization.

“This removal uses an electrocautery tool that heats a needle until it can burn through the stalk of the tag. The heat from the needle closes the wound so there is very little bleeding and often none when a skin tag is removed using this method,” wrote Risper.

Liposuction

In November 2020, the former Nairobi Diaries actress underwent a more intense cosmetic surgery known as liposuction.

Opening up on her reason for going through with the procedure, Risper explained that she no longer felt confident in her body after getting a child.

“All my life I was used to that small body, small waistline but immediately you give birth everything changes and to me, it seems like I’m not adjusting and I’m not accepting the fact that everything changed and so did my body, that is why it’s looking the way it is. After giving birth I weighed myself and I was 100kgs over 22months after I had given birth I’m weighing around 116kgs and my body just keeps growing and growing, I don’t feel beautiful anymore, I don’t feel myself anymore. I have been so down, I’m so moody lately,” she revealed.

Risper admitted that she not only wanted to go through the procedure for herself but also for her marriage stating that her unhappiness and lack of intimacy would soon push her husband to step out of their marriage.

“It’s affecting my marriage because sometimes like I said I don’t feel like being intimate with my husband because I don’t feel beautiful. We got married in 2018 and we are in 2020, it’s been two years. This is a very young marriage and if I want it to last forever I need to fix these things for me to be happy and concentrate on my marriage because if I don’t fix it, it will bring us problems later and that’s what I don’t want,” she added.
