The Standard Group Limited sponsored a charity golf tournament held at Sigona Golf Club at weekend to a tune of Sh150,000.
The Group and Tononoka Steels Ltd joined forces in extending Corporate Social Responsibility through sports.

The event was won by Kush Mediratta who scored 41 stableford points at the par-72 Sigona Golf Club.
Pal Choda was second on 39 points. Championship convener Nitin Nayak said Sh1.2m was realised at the event.
"The money is part of the Sh4 million we hope to raise to build a clinic for the people of Kihumbu-ini area in Gatanga constituency," said Bobby Virdee the Round Table Chairman.
Round Table is the name given to the project that seeks to uplift the living standards of the poverty-stricken people of Gatanga.
Other successful projects of the Round Table include the 1995 daytime clinic built for the PCEA church.
