Jack Wilshere has posted adorable pictures of his newly-born daughter Siena after the Arsenal star missed the midweek game vs Leicester to attend the birth.

Wilshere joked that he wanted to name his daughter Arsena, but that his wife wasn't keen on a Gunners tribute.

Wilshere wrote: "My princess, you don't even know how loved you are. Thank you Andriani Wilshere for our beautiful baby girl, we are blessed i can't wait for you to meet your brother and sister.

"Unfortunately the mrs didn't like the name Arsena thank you for the nice messages."

Wilshere will now hope to play some part in the final game of the season against Huddersfield, in what will be Arsene Wenger's final game in charge.

The 26-year-old is fighting to make Gareth Southgate's England squad for the World Cup in Russia this summer.

A series of injuries have meant Wilshere only featuring in 20 Premier League games this term.
