Reports from The Mirror indicates that Fergie’s first words after coming out of coma were about Doncaster’s result. This was because his son Darren Ferguson is the current manager at the club.

Darren missed his side clash with Wigan to stay with his father at the hospital. Unfortunately, Doncaster lost 1-0.

According to The Mirror, he is believed to have asked his family: ‘So how did Doncaster get on?’
