APS Bomet one win away from FKF Premier League promotion

Administration Police Service (APS) Bomet are one victory away from earning promotion to Football Kenya Federation Premier League ahead of the midweek National Super League.

APS Bomet will be promoted to the FKF-PL on Wednesday if they defeat Mara Sugar.

Bomet match is among the five matches lined up for Wednesday with another three fixtures scheduled for Thursday as the season nears its conclusion.

With only three rounds of games remaining, APS lead the log with 65 points and can seal automatic promotion with a win as they sit five points ahead of second-placed Fortune Sacco.

Fortune Sacco (60 points), Muhoroni Youth (56 points) and Muli Children Family (MCF) who have bagged 51 points, but with a game in hand, clash with Migori Youth, Naivas and Coastal Heroes respectively.

On Thursday, Shabana will be out to revive their minimal chances of making it to the topflight league when they host Kisumu All-Stars at William Ole Ntimama Stadium in Narok.

NSL champions and runners-up are automatically promoted to FKF-PL, while the team which finishes third will play Wazito in the promotion playoffs before the new season kicks off. Wazito finished 17th in the 2021/22 FKF-PL season.

Meanwhile, Dandora Love, Zoo Kericho and Gusii United have already been relegated.
