The club is currently third in the National Super League (NSL) standings with 53 points with eight matches left till the end of the regular season.

Ahead of their top of the table clash with second placed Fortune Sacco (54 points) who are a point ahead of them at Muhoroni Stadium in Kisumu County on Saturday from 1pm, Muhoroni Youth captain Fredrick Odongo said they are confident of earning promotion and the journey starts with collecting maximum points against Fortune Sacco.

“We are ready for them. The team is focused on winning all our remaining eight matches. If we defeat Fortune Sacco today, we will be at a better position of solidifying our chances of finishing among the top two. We cannot accept defeat at home,” said Odongo.
