FKF Premier League: Kariobangi Sharks cage Leopards to go third

Kariobangi Sharks came from a goal down to thrash AFC Leopards 3-1 in a FKF Premier League match played at Kasarani Stadium on Saturday.

Eugene Mukangula gave Leopards the lead in the 15th minute before Julius Masaba cancelled it out as the two sides went to the break tied at 1-1.

In the final half, the hosts completed their comeback with Felix Oluoch and Eric Mmata netting in the 67th and 85th minute to end Leopards' six match unbeaten run.

The victory propelled Sharks to temporarily move into third spot on the log with 24 points ahead of today’s matches that will involve the other top four contestants led by Gor Mahia, Posta Rangers, Nairobi City Stars and Bandari.

Ingwe on the other hand lost their sixth match of the season, which still leaves them 14th in the log with 14 points, five points off the relegation zone.

In another contest of the day, Kenya Police piled more misery on relegation threatened Mathare United after beating them 2-1 at rain-soaked Ruaraka grounds.
