Kisumu All Starlets are confident of edging out Wadadia FC when they take on the Kakamega based side in the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Women’s Cup quarterfinals at Mumias Complex on Saturday.

All Starlets knocked out Trans Nzoia Falcons 5-4 in post-match penalties in the round of 16 last month and head coach Said Juma is optimistic they can do it again in Mumias.

Despite the difficulty of playing away from home, Juma is full of confidence in his girls whom he said are hungry for victory.

“Although we have posted mixed results in the premier league, the girls have really worked hard in the cup competition and I trust them to continue with their stellar form against Wadadia,” said the coach.

In Nairobi, Ulinzi Starlets will be seeking to continue with their premier league form in the cup completion when they take on Zetech Spars who are fresh from their humiliating 7-4 loss to Thika queens in the league.

Gaspo Women will face Kayole Starlet as Bunyore Starlets host heavyweights Vihiga Queens on Sunday.
