Former AFC Leopards coach Anthony ‘Modo’ Kimani has reunited with Rwandese coach Andre Cassa Mbungo at Bandari’s technical bench.
Kimani quit Leopards on February 7 after the arrival of Belgian coach Patrick Aussems while Mbungo left Ingwe in December 2019 before he returned to the country to take over Bandari on January 4 this year.
Kimani was unveiled to Bandari players on Saturday in Kericho before their 2-0 win over Ulinzi Stars.
“We are proud to announce Anthony “Modo” Kimani as our assistant coach for a period of one year with an option to extend,” Bandari said in a statement.
“We continue to focus on growth and investing in the youth which has been Kimani’s philosophy and that’s why he fits perfectly for the role. The club would like to welcome him home and together may we achieve greatness,” added the statement.
