Brazilian winger currently at Chelsea Willian has reportedly agreed a three-year contract with London rivals Arsenal, according to ESPN.

English tabloids also report the deal, which is expected to be announced later in the month is around one hundred thousand pounds (Sh14 million) a week.

The 31-year-old has spent seven years at Stamford Bridge but has reportedly failed to find an agreement over a new contract. Willian is said to have insisted on a three-year-contract.

Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard expressed his willingness for the winger to stay but said he would respect his decision, having been a great servant at the club.

"I've got a great relationship with Willian. I actually don't know what that decision is. If that happens over the next few days, as he said, that will be good to me in either way.  Of course I'm very happy with Willian. He's been brilliant with me this season with input and work ethic within the squad. "But it is his choice and I respect his choice. He's been a great servant for Chelsea if he decides to move on and if he does decide to move on, Chelsea obviously moves on as well. We have to look forward ourselves,” said Lampard.

Sources intimated to ESPN Lampard has been unsuccessful in persuading Chelsea bosses to keep Willian. Arsenal have now come in to secure the midfielder.

Willian missed Arsenal's FA Cup final win over Chelsea due to an Achilles injury.

ARSENAL BEAT CHELSEA TO WIN FA CUP IN DRAMATIC FASHION

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a brace to help Arsenal secure a 2-1 win over 10-man Chelsea in the FA Cup final on Saturday, August 1, clinching a record-extending 14th trophy in the competition. The win also meant the Gunners are now guaranteed a spot in next seasons UEFA Europa League.

This was Mikel Arteta his first trophy as Arsenal manager, after his departure from dethroned-champions Manchester City, where he served as Pep Guardiola assistant.

With the contest locked at 1-1, Gunners striker Aubameyang once again proved why he’s one of the most lethal strikers in Europe, dancing past the Chelsea defenders before calmly finishing with his left foot seven minutes past the hour mark.

Chelsea took the lead very early in the game after Christian Pulisic latched on to Olivier Giroud's flick inside the box, tucking the ball neatly past goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.

Aubameyang made it 1-1 moments after the water break from the penalty spot.

Frank Lampard was forced to take off Azpilicueta and Pulisic after they picked up injuries, and were reduced to 10 after Mateo Kovacic collected a second booking for a foul on Granit Xhaka.
