Arsenal fans will be an excited lot this weekend after the Gunners beat 25 European clubs to an agreement with Brazilian wonder kid Gabriel Martinelli.

 Arsenal have reportedly won the race to sign Brazilian Wonder kid Gabriel Martinelli after reaching a verbal agreement with the teenager’s camp.

The gunners registered interest in the 17-year-old striker and European publications claim that the north London outfit beat 25 clubs including Manchester United and Barcelona to sign him.

The reports claim that Arsenal are waiting for the teenager to obtain an Italian passport before they make his move official next month. The deal is expected to cost the club 5m pounds if it goes through.

Marcus Rashford ready to sign a new deal

Manchester United have had heartening talks with star striker Marcus Rashford’s representatives, raising hopes among United Faithful the England sensation will pen a new five-year deal at the theatre of dreams worth 150,000 pounds a week.

The striker’s deal runs out next summer and United are sweating over his future with Real Madrid pondering a move after the return of Zinedine Zidane.

Everton join bidding war for Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson

The Toffees have reportedly thrown themselves into a bidding war for the in-demand England striker Callum Wilson.

Bournemouth value their asset at 40m pounds and Everton will have to produce an amount close to that in order to tempt the Cherries into doing business.

The 27-year-old has been in fine form for Eddie Howe’s side scoring 13 goals so far this season.

Rafa Benitez unperturbed by the possibility of Ayoze Perez leaving

Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez maintains he is not bothered about losing star forward Ayoze Perez despite being linked with a move back to Spain.

The striker reportedly expressed his desire to return to his homeland but Rafa is confident that the star’s future still lies with the toon.

'He is someone you can see who is training well and is focused. When we talk about the future, we talk about doing things here. He's not telling me he wants to go, he's focused here. If he can see the team is doing well, I think he will be happy.' Said the toon boss.

 Arsenal 'offer Petr Cech a coaching role when he retires at the end of the season'

Arsenal veteran custodian Petr Cech announced that he will be hanging his gloves at the end of the current Premier League campaign.

The move has prompted the North Londoners to offer him a coaching role. Chelsea, however, threaten to scupper the deal as they want him on their books too and the Gunners fear he may perform a dramatic U-turn back to a club where he won 13 major titles.
