5 things we noticed from Dubai session

Arsenal have flown out to Dubai for some warm-weather training as international football takes centre stage this weekend.

Unai Emery led a session in the blazing sun on Friday and put his Gunners stars through their paces. He also welcomed back a few familiar faces, which will certainly brighten the mood of Arsenal supporters.

As always, here are five things we noticed from the training session.

1. Hector Bellerin is back in the frame

The Spaniard was ruled out for the rest of the season after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament back in January.

He's still a long way from being ready to return for the Gunners, but Bellerin was back with his team-mates on Friday.

Not in amongst them with a ball at his feet, but rather inside working out on a bicycle.

2. Danny Welbeck is back running

Another boost for the Gunners is the sight of Welbeck on the training ground.

The former Manchester United striker suffered an ankle injury back in November and has needed surgery to speed up his recovery.

Like Bellerin, he isn't ready to return just yet, but he was back running with his team-mates this Friday.

3. High spirits in the camp

Arsenal have been on a good run of form in recent weeks, winning four of their past five matches in the Premier League.

A 2-0 win over Manchester United last time out in the top flight saw them climb above the Red Devils into fourth.

They then went on to beat Rennes 3-0 to progress to the quarterfinals of the Europa League, so it's no surprise there were some happy faces on Friday.

4. Denis Suarez gets his head down

Recent reports have claimed Arsenal will not be signing Suarez on a permanent basis come the end of the season.

The Barcelona loanee has struggled to shine so far in north London, but he isn't letting his critics get the better of him.

He recently hit back over reports about him on social media, and on Friday worked hard to show Emery he does have what it takes.

5. Just look at Mesut Ozil's boots

He's Arsenal best-paid player so it's only right he has the nicest boots in the squad.

On Friday Ozil turned out in the new 98' Accelerators by Adidas, which were launched recently to pay homage to Zinedine Zidane's Ballon d'Or success in 1998.

They're a little flash, given that they're gold, but in the Dubai sun they look pretty special.
