Harambee Stars up two places in latest FIFA ranking

Kenya has moved up two places in the latest FIFA rankings.

Harambee Stars, who have moved from position 107 to 105, are on the brink of qualifying for the African Cup of Nations following victories against Ghana and Ethiopia in the last two months.

They have accumulated a total of 1210 points according to FIFA, a decimal point short of 104th place occupied by another African country – Libya.

Uganda has also moved up four places to 79th with 1306 points.

The highest ranked African country is Senegal who are 25th with 1501 points.

For the first time in their footballing history, Belgium occupies top spot alone, with France second and Brazil third.

Croatia, England, Uruguay, Portugal, Switzerland, Spain and Denmark complete the top 10 respectively.
