Allstars midfielder Joshua Otieno yesterday joined the Hull City Under 18 and Under 23 for a two-day training session at Bishop Burton College, Hull City Academy.

This follows a social media outcry after the Sony Sugar youngster (16 years) failed to even touch the ball following his late substitution during Monday’s 2-1 friendly defeat to the Tiger’s Development side.

Having missed the opportunity to train on the EPL side’s grounds, Otieno, who joined the AllStars squad late in London, remained in Hull for some exposure.

“ I am excited as this opportunity will help me attain better skills. I don’t feel bad about not taking part in the game, I’m optimistic that there will be more opportunities. This is just the beginning,” said an elated Joshua.
