ROAD TO ANFIELD: Standard Group face Multichoice

Standard Group has been pooled in Group A at the Standard Chartered Bank’s Road to Anfield football tournament that will take place at St Marys School in Nairobi this Saturday.

The other group members include Multichoice, Jubilee Insurance, AIG Insurance, Deloitte and Alexander Forbes. The tournament has attracted a total of 36 teams.

The top two teams from each of the six groups will proceed directly to the quarter-finals where the 12 will be joined by four best losers.

The winner of this year’s Standard Chartered Trophy Kenya tournament will travel to Tanzania to take part in the East Africa Regional final to fight for qualification to the international round in Liverpool.
