Olivier Giroud acknowledges a move to China could be tempting, but he wants to win EPL title first

ARSENAL star Olivier Giroud has refused to rule out a move to the Chinese Super League

Olivier Giroud has admitted he would be interested in a move to China - but only once he has won the Premier League with Arsenal.

A host of star names have been lured to the Far East with many more tipped to follow.

Chelsea striker Diego Costa had been linked with a sensational offer from Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian, while Yaya Toure has reportedly snubbed a mega-money move.

Giroud admits he can "understand" why some players would be tempted by a move and refused to rule it out in the future.

But for now, his focus is solely on winning more silverware with Arsenal after signing a new deal.

"If you ask me if I would like to go now, I would tell you no," he told SNTV.

"I still want to play in the Premier League. I am happy here. This is my club and I want to win more trophies with this club.

"The Premier League is my main target. After I have won it, maybe one day, you never know.

"I am still young and I have ambition. And my ambition is to win the Premier League and to play at least two or three more years."

Giroud's comments come after a limit was introduced on foreign players in the Chinese Super League ahead of the new season.

New guidelines will allow just three overseas players to be used in any one game, down from the current number of five, the Chinese FA confirmed in a statement on Monday.

There are concerns from the media in the Far East that clubs are 'burning money' on foreign talent and hindering the progress of local players.
