Eric Dier has accused “dirty” Ander Herrera of elbowing him during England’s draw with Spain - and warned: “I’ll see him soon”.
The fuming Three Lions midfielder suggested he would have his revenge over the incident, five minutes before the end of the 2-2 draw, when Spurs face Manchester United next month.
Dier, 22, confronted at the time but the playmaker pleaded his innocence.
Dier said however: “I think it’s pretty clear what he did and I can feel it on my cheek now. So I know what he did, and I don’t like that kind of stuff.
“I don’t mind people kicking each other at times and stuff but that’s just dirty and not needed.”
He added: “I’ve made a pass and it was a long time afterwards and he’s elbowed me in the face and I just can’t see why. For me, it’s just ridiculous.”
Tottenham go to Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday, December 11.
