Paul Pogba has been slated for his Manchester derby performance by Jamie Carragher for his ill-discipline in the middle of the pitch for Manchester United.
The former Liverpool defender was baffled by the France international's positioning, as part of a two alongside Marouane Fellaini, and revealed he felt sorry for the Belgian.
Carragher described the former £90million signing's performance in Manchester City's 2-1 victory as resembling that of a kid in the school yard.
“All weekend we lauded Pep Guardiola but he didn’t do anything too different to what he’s done in the first few games.

“Two wingers really wide, Silva and De Bruyne the key players in the system, which is what they’ve been doing all season.
“I think it wasn’t Pep Guardiola that got it right. It was Mourinho that got it wrong.
“The performance of Paul Pogba: It was ill-disciplined. He was like a kid in the schoolyard, running where he wants and doing what he wants.
“I felt so sorry for Marouane Fellaini. The space in the centre of that pitch and he was left on his own by Pogba.
“He’s either got it wrong or Jose Mourinho’s given him licence to get forward.”
