Paris St-Germain confirm interest in Angel di Maria

Paris Saint Germain have confirmed they want to sign Angel Di Maria from Manchester United.

PSG boss Laurent Blanc confirmed his interest in taking the £59.7million British record signing who endured a tough first season at United.

The French champions are confident a £45million bid for the Argentina playmaker would be successful, but Blanc admitted interest from other clubs made any deal a tough proposition.

“Di Maria, he’s good," said Blanc. "We have more freedom, but it remains a difficult project for us because we’re not alone in wanting him.
