Luis Suarez propel Liverpool to the top of the table

EPL: Luis Suarez helped propel Liverpool to the top of the Premier League as the Reds beat a Cardiff side with the conflict between owner Vincent Tan and manager Malky Mackay hanging over them.

The Uruguayan broke the deadlock with a volley and then raced clear to set up Raheem Sterling for a tap-in.

Suarez brilliantly curled in a low 18-yard shot before an unmarked Jordon Mutch headed in for the visitors.

Cardiff valiantly tried to force their way back into the game but to no avail.
