Anthony Joshua claims he would bet on himself if he could to knock out Joseph Parker.

Joshua looked relaxed in his Under Armour tracksuit at Tuesday’s final press conference as the the two world champions came face to face ahead of Saturday night's fight in Cardiff.

And the Brit confidently predicted he would beat Parker to add the Kiwi’s WBO heavyweight title to his WBA Super and IBF belts.

“I've definitely prepared for a 12-round fight, although I’m not expecting it to go the distance,” he said.

“Let’s say I’ve got £20 in my pocket and I’m looking at Joseph Parker, I believe Anthony Joshua can knock Joseph Parker out for sure.

“I’m looking forward to Saturday. He’s done well for himself. He’s quick and he can take a punch.”

Parker is just as bullish about his chances and says he has yet to decide how he will beat Joshua.

“I’m going to beat him,” smiled Parker, who looked like Kevin Costner in JFK in his light grey, three-piece suit and retro glasses.

“I haven’t decided how I’m going to beat him yet. I will see how I feel on fight night.

“I feel ready, I feel confident, I feel sharp, my movement is better than ever.

He added, looking at Joshua’s belts, “I’m 100 per cent these are mine. I’m bringing these belts back to New Zealand and Samoa.”

Both fighters were chilled and neither side anything as they twice faced-off against each other for the cameras.

Parker posed with his belt over his left arm, while Joshua stood without his belts, looking at him intently.

Joshua broke away first both times, giving Parker a victory of sorts in the stare-off.

The two promoters provided the feistiness as David Higgins and Eddie Hearn aimed digs at each other.

Higgins said: “I would like to thank Joshua for being punctual. We appreciate it.

“Secondly I’d like to let Eddie Hear and Anthony. Joshua know we won’t be taking any bait from them.

“Eddie is definitely the second best promoter in the world, but our jobs are down.

“I’m going to say very little today and I will let Joseph Parker do most of the talking. I challenge Eddie Hearn to let Anthony Joshua do his own talking.

“If you bait me, I will walk off stage and challenge you to do the same.”

Hearn hit back, saying: “If your leg doesn't stop shaking, I’m going to have to move.”

Higgins replied: “I can smell the silver spoon on your breath, Eddie.”

And Hearn had the last word, saying: “There’s only one thing I can smell on your breath and that’s last night’s activities.”
