Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) will be seeking to seal their top spot position in the KBF Premier League with wins against Umoja and Emyba.

KPA are top with 37 points, two behind Equity Banks and three ahead of defending champions Ulinzi Warriors who have three games in hand.

A win for the Dockers will see them finish the regular season top.

The dockers will start as favorites against struggling Umoja at 4pm on Saturday before winding up their regular season against relegation-threatened Emyba from 11am on Sunday.

Victories in the two matches will keep KPA on top of the 12-team standings with 39 points.

Other matches will feature Terror face KU Pirates and Eldonets play Thunder and Blades.

In the women’s premier league, Kisumu Lady Bucks will be seeking to build on their first win of the campaign when they travel to play Zetech University, Equity Bank and Kenyatta University in Nairobi.

The Kisumu based side defeated Eagle Wings 49-43 last weekend to end their eight-match winless run in the league and another victory on the road will help the team in their fifth to avoid relegation.

Speaking to the Standard Sports, Lady Bucks captain Stephanie Tongoi said they are full of confidence ahead of the match.

“The win against Eagle Wings showed us that everything is possible when your believe and work hard. The team is motivated. We are just getting started. This is a fresh start for us and the only way to go is forward.”

“We still believe we can get out of the bottom spot if we post positive results in the remaining matches,” said Tongoi who will miss the three matches with a slight injury.

Lady Bucks will play Zetech University at noon today at Nyayo Stadium before playing twice tomorrow against defending champions Equity Banks and Kenyatta University at 10am and 4pm respectively.

The Kisumu side are bottom with 10 points but with nine games in hand.
