Paul Lonyangata defends his Paris title as Betsy Saina triumphs in women’s category

Kenya’S Paul Lonyangata has retained his Paris Marathon title in the men’s 42nd edition of IAAF Gold label road race.

The Sunday morning event saw the 25 year old clinch the title, which has elevated him to the level of British legendary runner Steve who won back-to-back similar title in 1989 and 1990.

On the women’s category Betsy Saina prevailed and won the prestigious title and heaping more honours for Kenya.

Lonyangata finished as the runner-up last year in the half Marathon last year with  a time code of 1: 00: 40.
