Strathmore Leos and Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST RFC) seek to continue their dominance in the 2019 -20 KRU championship when they play the University of Eldoret and South Coast Pirates today.

Leos, eight points clear off second-placed MMUST, are eyeing to go into the Christmas break unbeaten and captain Gabriel Adero is confident they will register their ninth consecutive win of the campaign away at University of Eldoret.

Adero said the team has been training well and they are motivated by their stellar performance in the opening eight matches.

“We are ready for the match against University of Eldoret with our focus being to continue our winning streak. Our objective still remains to finish the season on top and that is why we have been training hard,” he said.

The match pitting Leos against UoE will kick off early as the university side is set to host a doubleheader with Eldoret RFC hosting Catholic Monks at the same grounds.

Monks, sixth in the table, will seek to climb into the top four as newbies Eldoret, aim to move further away from the relegation zone.
