Nakuru Club narrowly defeated Nazarene University 46-43 to win their penultimate Kenya Basketball Federation National Division One League match ahead of the play-offs at Upper Hill School in Nairobi over the weekend.

The victory solidified their qualification to the play-offs next month.

The victory has left them (Nakuru) still at third spot with 36 points from 23 matches in the 13-team competition with the first eight making it to the play-offs. [Ben Ahenda]
