Members of the National Olympic Committee of Kenya (Nock) and the electoral board are scheduled to meet today to agree on the modalities of the September 29 elections.

The Centre for Multiparty Democracy (CMD) has been retained to conduct the elections, which aborted in May. According to Irene Tindi, a programme officer at CMD, the Nock executive will be present.

“They have asked us for a meeting this afternoon,” she said.
