Following the end of Ramadan, Premier League footballers and those from across Europe have been celebrating Eid, according to Mail Online.

The religious holiday, which is celebrated by Muslims worldwide to mark the end of Ramadan, was clearly very much enjoyed by some of the sport's biggest names on Sunday.

Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, who is currently recovering from a cruciate knee ligament injury, took to Instagram to post a photo of himself outside a picturesque mosque, with the caption: 'Enjoy your Ramazan Bayram?.'

Musa's Leicester team-mate Riyad Mahrez, Liverpool's Sadio Mane and Real Madrid's Karim Benzema were among the other big names to celebrate the occasion.

It wasn't just footballers though who were seen posting messages to Muslims around the world.
