Entertainment and sports celebrities took to social media to express sadness and shock in the aftermath of the bomb attack in Manchester that killed at least 22 people.
The attack occurred on Monday evening in the foyer of the city's Arena stadium, where U.S. singer Ariana Grande had just finished performing a concert. Many of those in attendance were young teenagers and children.
Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama and others expressed their concern and heartbreak for the fans who attended the Ariana Grande concert.

“My thoughts and prayers to everyone affected by last night's tragic events at @ManchesterArena,” Wanyama wrote on twitter late last night.
Skipper Wayne Rooney paid tribute, alongside teammates of past and present including David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Authorities are still investigating the incident and United Kingdom Prime Minister Theresa May on Tuesday morning called the "sickening."
