Nairobi, Kenya: Football Kenya Federation have made good on their threat by fining Gor Mahia and Sofapaka for participating in Wednesday’s DSTV Super Cup.

For ignoring the federation’s directive not to feature in the traditional curtain-raiser to the season, both the 14 time Kenyan Premier League champions and the 2014 Gotv winners have been handed a Sh 200,000 fine each, while the match officials who handled the clash will serve a three-months suspension each.
