Foreign-based Kenyan Morans star Ariel Okall has joined the rest of the national squad camp in Cameroon ahead of the Afrobasket qualifiers set to kick off on Friday.

Okall, fresh from signing a six-month contract with Oman’s Al Bashaer Club after his contract with Algeria's US Setif expired last year, will be a vital addition to the Morans team.

The Morans jetted out of the country on Monday to Cameroon for the second and final round of qualifiers.

He was joined by the foreign-based triplet of Joel Awich, Preston Bungei and Tylor Okari.

They are expected to make a huge difference in the team with Bungei and Awich, who also have American citizenship, set to make their debuts at the three-day event.

Bungei is currently plying his trade in Denmark with Randers Cimbria alongside Okari (Bakken Bears), while Awich is based in France.

Kenya is on a mission to fulfil their quest of securing a spot in the Afrobasket 2021.

Kenya is in group 'B' which also has Senegal, Angola and Mozambique. They play their first match against Senegal on Friday.
