Walter Mongare a.k.a Nyambane has left the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) where he was the radio boss for two years.

During an exclusive interview with MondayBlues on Saturday, Walter confirmed that he had handed over his resignation letter to the KBC board chairman on Friday. "I hereby notify the Board that I do not wish to renew or renegotiate terms," his letter read in part.

"It is with regret that I note your intention. I can only wish you well as you pursue your other interests," Waihenya noted, in his response. Nyambane has used his last three months to rebrand and launch new radio stations for the corporation even as the workers staged a major strike paralysing the national broadcaster for a week.
