The Premier League has confirmed the referee appointments ahead of the festive fixtures.

Chris Kavanagh will take charge of the big game between Arsenal and Manchester United on New Year's Day.

He will also be in charge of Manchester City's clash with Sheffield United on December 29.

Anthony Taylor takes charge of Wolves ' trip to league leaders, Liverpool, on the same day, a week after being in charge of the clash between London rivals Tottenham and Chelsea.

Lee Mason will take charge of Watford vs Manchester United, whilst Kevin Friend is in the middle for Everton vs Arsenal, Manchester United vs Newcastle and Norwich vs Tottenham.

Liverpool will have Michael Oliver in charge for their huge top of the table clash with Leicester on Boxing Day, with Paul Tierney on the whistle on January 2 against Sheffield United.

Arsenal will have Stuart Attwell at the helm as they travel to Bournemouth.
