The race for Maa vote in Narok County got underway today with Governor Samuel Tunai launching his re-election bid in what appeared to be a show of might in Narok town. The governor who is hoping to retain his position using the ruling Jubilee ticket also used the opportunity to campaign for President Uhuru Kenyatta in an event attended by more than 10 legislators. And as our senior reporter Chris Thairu reports, Tunai’s main challenger Patrick Ntutu held a parallel meeting in Suswa in what political pundits say is a dress rehearsal for the August 8th poll.
